This past Tuesday, May 15, students (with staff and faculty) shut down the Whitmore and Goodell administrative buildings to protest the offer of a degree to Andrew Card! Through a sustained, non-violent protest and sit-in, we sent an unmistakable signal to the administration of UMass that WE DO NOT WANT THIS DEGREE GIVEN TO A WAR CRIMINAL IN OUR NAME!
